Things You Might Be Wondering

  • What areas do you cover for recovery?

I cover all of Northern Ireland for breakdowns and recovery. For transport jobs, I can arrange delivery across Ireland, the UK and even further through my trusted network.

  • How fast can you get to me?

Most of the time I’ll be there in under 90 minutes. If I’m on another job, I’ll let you know straight away so there are no surprises.

  • Can you take passengers too?

Yes. I’ve got ISOFIX seatbelts for 2 child seats and space for up to four passengers. I can also assist wheelchair users into the cab.

  • How do I send you my location?

Call me first. Once we’ve spoken, I’ll ask you to hit the ‘Send Location’ button on the website so I know exactly where you are.

  • Do you offer 24-hour callouts?

Yes. I’m available day and night for urgent recoveries. Just call and I’ll tell you what I can do.

  • What vehicles can you recover or transport?

Cars, vans, bikes, classics, non-runners, low-riders, and more. If it fits on a trailer, I’ll move it.

  • What if I don’t know where to take the car?

No problem. I can store it safely for you or recommend trusted garages I work with regularly.

  • Do you work with insurance or accident management companies?

Yes. I handle everything directly with my own accident support team. I recover and store your vehicle, and my solicitor partner can help deal with insurers, repairs, and any claim where it is appropriate.

  • How much does it cost?

Local callouts are competitively priced. Prices vary based on location of vehicle distance to travel, where I am at the time of enquiry and the job itself. I’ll always give you a straight quote before we go ahead.

  • Can you collect vehicles from auctions or dealerships?

Absolutely. Just give me the collection details and I’ll handle it from there.

WHO IS DANNY?

I'm Danny Crangle, founder of Carlin Recovery & Transportation Services. Before starting the business, I spent years driving lorries across Ireland and the UK. It was a demanding job that taught me the importance of reliability, planning, safety and looking after what people trust you with. I transported everything from vehicles and machinery to valuable cargo, where there was no room for mistakes.

Today I provide vehicle recovery, transport and collection services from Ballymena, helping motorists, motorcyclists and businesses throughout Northern Ireland and beyond. When you call, you're dealing directly with me, not a call centre or national chain.

Alongside Carlin Recovery, I also co-founded Ballymena Service Centre. We wanted to create a local garage that people could trust for servicing, repairs, diagnostics and vehicle maintenance. Being involved in both businesses allows me to help customers from the moment a vehicle breaks down right through to getting it repaired and back on the road.

I've built my reputation by turning up when I say I will, treating people fairly and doing my best to help when things don't go to plan. If you're stuck at the roadside, need a vehicle moved, or simply want honest advice, I'll always try to point you in the right direction.

I turn up. Simple as that.

Why DO PEOPLE CALL ME?

I don't believe in making things complicated. If you need help, I'll do my best to get to you quickly. If you need a vehicle moved, I'll make sure it's handled properly from start to finish.

Years working in transport taught me that people value reliability more than excuses. That's why I focus on turning up when I say I will, keeping you informed and treating every vehicle with care.

Whether it's a roadside recovery in Ballymena, a motorcycle transport job across Northern Ireland, or a vehicle collection further afield, I approach every job the same way.

You'll always get the truth, a fair price, and no messing..
